καὶ ἐγὼ δὲ ἐπέταξα ὁλοσχερῶς οἰκοδομῆσαι καὶ ἀτενίσαι, ἵνα συμποιῶσι τοῖς ἐκ τῆς αἰχμαλωσίας τῆς Ἰουδαίας μέχρι τοῦ ἐπιτελεσθῆναι τὸν οἶκον τοῦ Κυρίου·
Προσέταξε δὲ ἐπιμεληθῆναι Σισίννῃ ἐπάρχῳ Συρίας καὶ Φοινίκης, καὶ Σαθραβουζάνῃ, καὶ τοῖς συνεταίροις, καὶ τοῖς ἀποτεταγμένοις ἐν Συρίᾳ καὶ Φοινίκῃ ἡγεμόσιν ἀπέχεσθαι τοῦ τόπου, ἐᾶσαι δὲ τὸν παῖδα Κυρίου Ζοροβάβελ, ἔπαρχον δὲ τῆς Ἰουδαίας, καὶ τοὺς πρεσβυτέρους τῶν Ἰουδαίων, τὸν οἶκον τοῦ Κυρίου ἐκεῖνον οἰκοδομεῖν ἐπὶ τοῦ τόπου.
Y también ordenó que Sisinnes, el gobernador de Siria y Fenicia, y Satrabuzanes con toda su gente, y los encargados de gobernar por allá, no anduvieran de metiches en el lugar, sino que dejaran que Zorobabel, el servidor del Señor y gobernador de Judea, y los líderes judíos, construyeran esa casa del Señor en su terreno.
También mandó que Sisinnes, el gobernador de Siria y Fenicia, y Satrabuzanes, y sus compañeros, y los que fueron nombrados gobernantes en Siria y Fenicia, tuvieran cuidado de no entrometerse en el lugar, sino permitir a Zorobabel, siervo del Señor, y gobernador de Judea, y a los ancianos de los judíos, edificar esa casa del Señor en su lugar.
