Then answered I and said, I beseech thee, O Lord, wherefore is the power of understanding given unto me?

Te phoeiah ka doo tih, “Ka Boeipa nang kang khue, balae tih kai he yakmingnah dongkah thaomnah neh n'khueh?

Then answered I and said, I beseech thee, O Lord, let me have understanding:

Then answered I and said, I beseech thee, O Lord, wherefore is the power of understanding given unto me?

Alors je pris la parole et je dis : « Je te prie, Seigneur, pourquoi m'a-t-on donné le pouvoir de comprendre ?

Entonces le contesté diciendo: “Te ruego, Señor, ¿para qué me dieron entonces la capacidad de pensar y de entender?

Entonces respondí y dije: «Te ruego, Señor, ¿por qué se me ha dado la facultad de entender?

Then answered I and said, “I beg you, O Lord, why has the power of understanding been given to me?

ὅπως ἀπὸ τῆς γνώμης πεφυλαγμένοι ἦτε ἄνεσιν ποιῆσαι περὶ τούτου, μή ποτε πληθυνθῇ ἀφανισμὸς εἰς κακοποίησιν βασιλεῦσι’.
