Let not us who are children of Abraham be so evil advised as by giving way to make use of an unbecoming pretense;

“Never may we, the children of Abraham, think so basely that out of cowardice we feign a role unbecoming to us!

Let not us who are children of Abraham be so evil advised as by giving way to make use of an unbecoming pretence;

« Que nous, enfants d'Abraham, ne soyons pas mal conseillés au point de céder à un faux-semblant inconvenant.

“Que nosotros, los hijos de Abraham, no nos dejemos llevar por tan malos consejos como para rendirnos y ponernos a fingir algo que no está bien.

«Que nosotros, los que somos hijos de Abraham, no seamos tan mal aconsejados como para ceder y hacer uso de un fingimiento impropio.
