Et cum hæc dixissent, factus est fletus et ululatus magnus in ecclesia ab omnibus, et per multas horas una voce clamaverunt ad Deum, dicentes:

Los descendientes de Esaú subieron junto con los amonitas, y acamparon en la sierra cerca de Dotaim. Mandaron a algunos hacia el sur y hacia el este, cerca de Ecrebel, junto a Cusi, por el arroyo de Mocmur. El resto del ejército asirio acampó en el valle y tapizó todo el terreno. Pusieron tantas tiendas de campaña y equipo que era una multitud gigantesca.
