But Judith fell upon her face, and put ashes upon her head, and uncovered the sackcloth wherewith she was clothed; and the incense of that evening was now being offered at Jerusalem in the house of God, and Judith cried unto the Lord with a loud voice, and said,

Quibus ascendentibus, Judith ingressa est oratorium suum: et induens se cilicio, posuit cinerem super caput suum: et prosternens se Domino, clamabat ad Dominum, dicens:

Yuditi anacifukama, abulagira oluvù okw’irhwe lyâge, abungûla sunzu wâge akazâg’iyambala mw’ago mango erhi badwîrhe batumbûkiza omu nyumpa ya Nyamuzinda enshangi y’ebijingo. Anaciyâkûza erhi:
