وَطَلَبَ أَخَزْيَا فَأَمْسَكُوهُ وَهُوَ مُخْتَبِئٌ فِي ٱلسَّامِرَةِ، وَأَتَوْا بِهِ إِلَى يَاهُو وَقَتَلُوهُ وَدَفَنُوهُ، لِأَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا: «إِنَّهُ ٱبْنُ يَهُوشَافَاطَ ٱلَّذِي طَلَبَ ٱلرَّبَّ بِكُلِّ قَلْبِهِ». فَلَمْ يَكُنْ لِبَيْتِ أَخَزْيَا مَنْ يَقْوَى عَلَى ٱلْمَمْلَكَةِ.
و اخزیا را طلبید و او رادر حالتی که در سامره پنهان شده بود، دستگیرنموده، نزد ییهو آوردند و او را به قتل رسانیده، دفن کردند زیرا گفتند: «پسر یهوشافاط است که خداوند را به تمامی دل خود طلبید.» پس، ازخاندان اخزیا، کسیکه قادر بر سلطنت باشد، نماند.

And he searched for Achazyahu, and they captured him while he was hiding in Shomron (Samaria), and brought him to Yehu; and when they had slain him, they buried him.
