Und die Kinder Israel sprachen zu ihnen: Wären wir doch durch des HERRN Hand in Ägypten gestorben, als wir bei den Fleischtöpfen saßen und Brot die Fülle zu essen hatten. Denn ihr habt uns darum in diese Wüste ausgeführt, daß ihr diese ganze Gemeinde Hungers sterben lasset!

Y los hijos de Israel les dijeron: Hubiera sido mejor que el Señor nos hubiera dado muerte en la tierra de Egipto, donde estábamos sentados junto a las ollas de carne y teníamos suficiente pan para nuestras necesidades; porque nos has llevado al desierto, para matar a toda esta gente por necesidad de comida.

Los hijos de Israel les decían: ¡Ojalá hubiéramos muerto por la mano de Yavé en la tierra de Egipto, cuando nos sentábamos junto a las ollas de carne, cuando comíamos pan hasta la saciedad! Ustedes nos sacaron a este desierto para matar de hambre a toda esta multitud.

And the Bnei Yisroel said unto them, If only G-d would have made us die by the yad Hashem in Eretz Mitzrayim, when we sat by the sir habasar (pot of meat), and when we did eat lechem to the full; for ye have brought us forth into this midbar, to kill this kol hakahal with ra'av (hunger).
