لِذَلِكَ هَكَذَا قَالَ ٱلرَّبُّ: هَأَنَذَا أُعَاقِبُ شِمْعِيَا ٱلنِّحْلَامِيَّ وَنَسْلَهُ. لَا يَكُونُ لَهُ إِنْسَانٌ يَجْلِسُ فِي وَسْطِ هَذَا ٱلشَّعْبِ، وَلَا يَرَى ٱلْخَيْرَ ٱلَّذِي سَأَصْنَعُهُ لِشَعْبِي، يَقُولُ ٱلرَّبُّ، لِأَنَّهُ تَكَلَّمَ بِعِصْيَانٍ عَلَى ٱلرَّبِّ».
