هُوَذَا يَصْعَدُ كَأَسَدٍ مِنْ كِبْرِيَاءِ ٱلْأُرْدُنِّ إِلَى مَرْعًى دَائِمٍ. لِأَنِّي أَغْمِزُ وَأَجْعَلُهُ يَرْكُضُ عَنْهُ. فَمَنْ هُوَ مُنْتَخَبٌ، فَأُقِيمَهُ عَلَيْهِ؟ لِأَنَّهُ مَنْ مِثْلِي؟ وَمَنْ يُحَاكِمُنِي؟ وَمَنْ هُوَ ٱلرَّاعِي ٱلَّذِي يَقِفُ أَمَامِي؟

He aquí que como león subirá de la hinchazón del Jordán contra la bella y robusta; porque muy pronto harélo correr de sobre ella, y al que fuere escogido la encargaré; porque ¿quién es semejante á mí? ¿y quién me emplazará? ¿y quién será aquel pastor que me podrá resistir?
Miren, como un león que sale de la espesura del Jordán hacia los prados verdes, así en un momento los haré huir de su tierra. Pondré sobre ella a quien yo elija. Porque, ¿quién es igual a mí? ¿Quién me puede pedir cuentas? ¿Qué pastor podrá hacerme frente?”.

Mira, él subirá como un león desde el espeso crecimiento del Jordán contra el lugar de descanso de Teman; pero de repente lo haré huir de ella; y pondré sobre ella al hombre de mi elección. ¿quién es como yo? ¿Y quién presentará su causa contra mí? ¿Y qué guardián de ovejas podrá mantener su lugar delante de mí?

Como un león que sube de la espesura del Jordán al pastizal de perenne verdor, así los correré de allí y la entregaré al que sea escogido. Porque, ¿quién es semejante a Mí? ¿Quién me desafía? ¿Cuál es el pastor que prevalece delante de Mí?

Ось він , як той лев, виступить від вижин Йорданських на ті утверджені місця; їх же я зневолю швидко вийти з Ідумеї, і, хто вибраний, того над нею поставлю. Хто бо рівня менї? і хто стане вимагати в мене відповідї? та й де той пастирь, що встояв би проти мене?
