And Balaam said to Balak, Stand by thy burnt-offering, and I will go; perhaps Jehovah will come to meet me; and whatever he shews me I will tell thee. And he went to a hill.

Entonces Balaam le dijo a Balac: “Quédate aquí junto a tu ofrenda mientras yo me alejo un poco. A lo mejor Yahvé viene a encontrarse conmigo, y yo te informaré todo lo que él me muestre”. Balaam se fue solo a un cerro desierto.
Balaam le dijo a Balac: «Quédate junto a tu holocausto, y yo me iré. Tal vez Yahvé venga a mi encuentro. Lo que él me muestre, te lo haré saber». Y se fue a un cerro desolado.
Potom će Bileam Balaku: “Ti stoj kod svoje paljenice, a ja idem ne bih li se sreo s Jahvom, pa što mi očituje, kazat ću ti.” I ode na osamljeno mjesto.

And Bileam said to Balak, Remain by thy burnt offering; and I will go, if perhaps the Word may meet me from before the Lord; and the word that He showeth me I will disclose unto thee. And he went solitary.

فَقَالَ بَلْعَامُ لِبَالَاقَ: «قِفْ عِنْدَ مُحْرَقَتِكَ، فَأَنْطَلِقَ أَنَا لَعَلَّ ٱلرَّبَّ يُوافِي لِلِقَائِي، فَمَهْمَا أَرَانِي أُخْبِرْكَ بِهِ». ثُمَّ ٱنْطَلَقَ إِلَى رَابِيَةٍ.
و بلعام به بالاق گفت: «نزد قربانی سوختنی خود بایست، تا من بروم؛ شاید خداوند برای ملاقات من بیاید، وهرچه او به من نشان دهد آن را به تو باز خواهم گفت.» پس به تلی برآمد.
