הנני שלח ולקחתי את כל משפחות צפון נאם יהוה ואל נבוכדראצר מלך בבל עבדי והבאתים על הארץ הזאת ועל ישביה ועל כל הגוים האלה סביב והחרמתים ושמתים לשמה ולשרקה ולחרבות עולם׃
هَأَنَذَا أُرْسِلُ فَآخُذُ كُلَّ عَشَائِرِ ٱلشِّمَالِ، يَقُولُ ٱلرَّبُّ، وَإِلَى نَبُوخَذْرَاصَّرَ عَبْدِي مَلِكِ بَابِلَ، وَآتِي بِهِمْ عَلَى هَذِهِ ٱلْأَرْضِ وَعَلَى كُلِّ سُكَّانِهَا وَعَلَى كُلِّ هَذِهِ ٱلشُّعُوبِ حَوَالَيْهَا، فَأُحَرِّمُهُمْ وَأَجْعَلُهُمْ دَهَشًا وَصَفِيرًا وَخِرَبًا أَبَدِيَّةً.
خداوند میگوید: اینک من فرستاده، تمامی قبایل شمال را با بنده خود نبوکدرصر پادشاه بابل گرفته، ایشان را بر این زمین و بر ساکنانش و بر همه امت هایی که به اطراف آن میباشند خواهم آورد و آنها را بالکل هلاک کرده، دهشت و مسخره و خرابی ابدی خواهم ساخت.
