І прийшов я в дім Шемаїї, сина Делаїї, сина Мегетавелового, й заперся він і сказав: Ходїм у дом Божий в середину храма, й замкнемо за собою двері храма, бо прийдуть вбити тебе, а прийдуть вбити тебе вночі.
Đoạn, tôi đi đến nhà của Sê-ma-gia, con trai của Đê-la-gia, cháu của Mê-hê-ta-bê-ên (người ấy đã rút ẩn ở đó); người nói rằng: Chúng ta hãy gặp nhau tại trong nhà của Đức Chúa Trời, chính giữa đền thờ, rồi chúng ta sẽ đóng các cửa đền thờ lại; vì chúng nó sẽ đến giết ông; ấy lúc ban đêm mà chúng nó toan đến giết ông.
וַאֲנִי־בָ֗אתִי בֵּ֣ית שְֽׁמַֽעְיָ֧ה בֶן־דְּלָיָ֛ה בֶּן־מְהֵֽיטַבְאֵ֖ל וְה֣וּא עָצ֑וּר וַיֹּ֡אמֶר נִוָּעֵד֩ אֶל־בֵּ֨ית הָאֱלֹהִ֜ים אֶל־תּ֣וֹךְ הַֽהֵיכָ֗ל וְנִסְגְּרָה֙ דַּלְת֣וֹת הַהֵיכָ֔ל כִּ֚י בָּאִ֣ים לְהָרְגֶ֔ךָ וְלַ֖יְלָה בָּאִ֥ים לְהָרְגֶֽךָ׃
