ثُمَّ قَالَ دَاوُدُ: «يَارَبُّ إِلَهَ إِسْرَائِيلَ، إِنَّ عَبْدَكَ قَدْ سَمِعَ بِأَنَّ شَاوُلَ يُحَاوِلُ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ إِلَى قَعِيلَةَ لِكَيْ يُخْرِبَ ٱلْمَدِينَةَ بِسَبَبِي.
ထိုနောက်ဒါဝိဒ်က``အို ဣသရေလအမျိုးသား တို့၏ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရဘုရား၊ ရှောလု သည်ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်၏အစေခံကျွန်တော်မျိုး ကြောင့်ကိလမြို့သို့လာရောက်၍ မြို့ကိုဖျက် ဆီးပစ်ရန်ကြံစည်လျက်ရှိကြောင်းကြားရ ပါ၏။-

Und David sprach: Jehova, Gott Israels! Dein Knecht hat für gewiß gehört, daß Saul danach trachtet, nach Kehila zu kommen, um die Stadt zu verderben um meinetwillen.
Und David sprach: HERR, Gott Israels, dein Knecht hat gehört, daß Saul darnach trachte, daß er gen Kegila komme, die Stadt zu verderben um meinetwillen.
Darauf betete David: Jahwe, du Gott Israels! Dein Sklave hat die Kunde vernommen, daß Saul im Sinne hat, gegen Kegila anzurücken, um meinethalben Verderben über die Stadt zu bringen.
Und David sprach: O HERR, Gott Israels, dein Knecht hat als gewiß gehört, daß Saul darnach trachtet, nach Kehila zu kommen und die Stadt um meinetwillen zu verderben.

וַיֹּאמֶר֮ דָּוִד֒ יְהוָה֙ אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל שָׁמֹ֤עַ שָׁמַע֙ עַבְדְּךָ֔ כִּֽי־מְבַקֵּ֥שׁ שָׁא֖וּל לָבֹ֣וא אֶל־קְעִילָ֑ה לְשַׁחֵ֥ת לָעִ֖יר בַּעֲבוּרִֽי׃
