Then the commanders of the Philistines asked, “What about these Hebrews?” Achish replied, “Is this not David, the servant of King Saul of Israel? He has been with me all these days, even years, and from the day he defected until today I have found no fault in him.”

Und Achis sprach zu den Fürsten der Philister: Ist das nicht David, der Knecht Sauls, des Königs von Israel, der schon seit Jahr und Tag bei mir gewesen ist? Und ich habe gar nichts an ihm gefunden von dem Tage an, da er abgefallen ist, bis auf diesen Tag.
Toen zeiden de oversten der Filistijnen: Wat zullen deze Hebreen? Zo zeide Achis tot de oversten der Filistijnen: Is deze niet David, de knecht van Saul, den koning van Israel, die deze dagen of deze jaren bij mij geweest is? En ik heb in hem niets gevonden van dien dag af, dat hij afgevallen is tot dezen dag toe.

ויאמרו שרי פלשתים מה העברים האלה ויאמר אכיש אל שרי פלשתים הלוא זה דוד עבד שאול מלך ישראל אשר היה אתי זה ימים או זה שנים ולא מצאתי בו מאומה מיום נפלו עד היום הזה׃
فَقَالَ رُؤَسَاءُ ٱلْفِلِسْطِينِيِّينَ: «مَا هَؤُلَاءِ ٱلْعِبْرَانِيُّونَ؟» فَقَالَ أَخِيشُ لِرُؤَسَاءِ ٱلْفِلِسْطِينِيِّينَ: «أَلَيْسَ هَذَا دَاوُدَ عَبْدَ شَاوُلَ مَلِكِ إِسْرَائِيلَ ٱلَّذِي كَانَ مَعِي هَذِهِ ٱلْأَيَّامَ أَوْ هَذِهِ ٱلسِّنِينَ، وَلَمْ أَجِدْ فِيهِ شَيْئًا مِنْ يَوْمِ نُزُولِهِ إِلَى هَذَا ٱلْيَوْمِ؟».
و سرداران فلسطینیان گفتند که «این عبرانیان کیستند؟» و اخیش به جواب سرداران فلسطینیان گفت: «مگر این داود، بنده شاول، پادشاه اسرائیل نیست که نزد من اینروزهایا این سالها بوده است و از روزی که نزد من آمد تاامروز در او عیبی نیافتم.»
ဖိလိတ္တိ မင်း တို့ကလည်း ၊ သင်နှင့်လိုက်သော ထို သူတို့သည် အဘယ်သူ နည်းဟုမေး လျှင် ၊ အာခိတ် မင်းက၊ ဤ သူသည် ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင် ရှောလု ၏ကျွန် ဒါဝိဒ် ဖြစ်သည်မ ဟုတ်လော။ ကြာမြင့်စွာ ငါ့ ထံမှာ နေပြီ။ ငါ့ထံသို့ရောက်သောနေ့ မှစ၍ ယနေ့ တိုင်အောင် သူ ၌ အပြစ်တင်စရာ တစုံတခု ကိုမျှ မ တွေ့ ဟု ဖိလိတ္တိ မင်း တို့အား ပြောဆို သော်လည်း၊
