فَلَمَّا سَمِعَ آسَا هَذَا ٱلْكَلَامَ وَنُبُوَّةَ عُودِيدَ ٱلنَّبِيِّ، تَشَدَّدَ وَنَزَعَ ٱلرَّجَاسَاتِ مِنْ كُلِّ أَرْضِ يَهُوذَا وَبَنْيَامِينَ وَمِنَ ٱلْمُدُنِ ٱلَّتِي أَخَذَهَا مِنْ جَبَلِ أَفْرَايِمَ، وَجَدَّدَ مَذْبَحَ ٱلرَّبِّ ٱلَّذِي أَمَامَ رِوَاقِ ٱلرَّبِّ.

E quando ouviu Asa as palavras e profecia de Obede profeta, foi confortado, e tirou as abominações de toda a terra de Judá e de Benjamim, e das cidades que ele havia tomado no monte de Efraim; e reparou o altar do SENHOR que estava diante do pórtico do SENHOR.

Als nun Asa diese Worte und die Weissagung des Propheten Oded hörte, ermannte er sich und schaffte die Greuel hinweg aus dem ganzen Lande Juda und Benjamin und aus den Städten, die er auf dem Gebirge Ephraim erobert hatte, und erneuerte den Altar des HERRN, der vor der Halle des HERRN stand.

And when Asa heard these words, and the nevu'ah of Oded HaNavi, he took courage, and put away the shikkutzim (abominable idols) from kol Eretz Yehudah and Binyamin, and from the cities which he had captured from Mt Ephrayim, and renewed the Mizbe'ach Hashem, that was in front of the Ulam Hashem.
