Más Josaba, la hija del rey Joram, hermana de Ocozías, tomó en secreto a Joás, hijo de Ocozías, con la mujer que lo cuidaba, lejos de entre los hijos del rey que fueron ejecutados, y él y la nodriza se escondieron en el dormitorio; y lo mantuvieron a salvo de Atalía, para que no fuera condenado a muerte.

Pero Josaba, hija del rey Joram y hermana de Ocozías, tomó a Joás, hijo de Ocozías. A escondidas lo quitó de entre los hijos del rey que eran asesinados, y lo escondió con su madre de crianza en un cuarto. Así lo escondieron de Atalía, y no fue asesinado.

But Yehosheva Bat HaMelech Yoram, achot Achazyahu, took Yoash ben Achazyah, and stole him from among the Bnei HaMelech which were being slain; and they hid him, even him and his nurse, in the cheder hamittot (bedroom) from Atalyah, so that he was not slain.
