Darum, wie die Feuerzunge Stoppeln frißt und dürres Gras in der Flamme zusammensinkt, also wird ihre Wurzel sein wie Moder und ihre Blüte wie Staub auffliegen; denn sie haben das Gesetz des HERRN der Heerscharen verschmäht und die Rede des Heiligen Israels verachtet.

Por esta causa, como la maleza del grano se quema con lenguas de fuego, y cuando la hierba seca desciende ante la llama, su raíz será como los tallos secos del grano y su flor se irá en polvo: porque han ido en contra de la ley del Señor de los ejércitos, y no han dado honor a la palabra del Santo de Israel.

Porque como la lengua de fuego devora el pasto y el rastrojo se consume en la llama, se pudrirá su raíz y su flor se desvanecerá como el polvo, porque desecharon la Ley de Yavé de las huestes y despreciaron la Palabra del Santo de Israel.
