Y en su huida delante de Israel, en el camino de Bet-horon, el Señor envió sobre ellos grandes piedras de granizo hasta Azeca, causando su muerte: aquellos cuya muerte fue causada por las piedras fueron más que los que los hijos de Israel mataron a espada.

Sucedió que cuando ellos huían de los israelitas por la bajada de Bethorón, Yavé lanzó desde el cielo grandes piedras sobre ellos, hasta Azeca, y murieron. Fueron más los muertos por las piedras de granizo, que los que los hijos de Israel mataron a espada.

And it came to pass, as they fled from before Yisroel, and were in the going down to Beit-Choron, that Hashem cast down avanim gedolot from Shomayim upon them unto Azekah, and they died; they were more which died with avnei habarad (hail-stones) than they whom the Bnei Yisroel slaughtered with the cherev.
