وَكَلَّمَ صَمُوئِيلُ كُلَّ بَيْتِ إِسْرَائِيلَ قَائِلًا: «إِنْ كُنْتُمْ بِكُلِّ قُلُوبِكُمْ رَاجِعِينَ إِلَى ٱلرَّبِّ، فَٱنْزِعُوا ٱلْآلِهَةَ ٱلْغَرِيبَةَ وَٱلْعَشْتَارُوثَ مِنْ وَسْطِكُمْ، وَأَعِدُّوا قُلُوبَكُمْ لِلرَّبِّ وَٱعْبُدُوهُ وَحْدَهُ، فَيُنْقِذَكُمْ مِنْ يَدِ ٱلْفِلِسْطِينِيِّينَ».

Samuel aber sprach zum ganzen Hause Israel also: Falls ihr euch von ganzem Herzen zu Jahwe zurückwenden wollt, so entfernt aus eurer Mitte die ausländischen Götter und die Astarten und richtet euren Sinn auf Jahwe, daß ihr ihn allein verehrt, - so wird er euch aus der Gewalt der Philister befreien.
Samuel aber redete mit ganz Israel und sprach: Wollt ihr von ganzem Herzen zu dem HERRN zurückkehren, so tut die fremden Götter und Astarten aus eurer Mitte und richtet eure Herzen zu dem HERRN und dient ihm allein, so wird er euch aus der Hand der Philister erretten.

Allora Samuele parlò a tutta la casa d’Israele dicendo: “Se tornate all’Eterno con tutto il vostro cuore, togliete di mezzo a voi gli dèi stranieri e gl’idoli di Astarte, volgete risolutamente il cuor vostro verso l’Eterno, e servite a lui solo; ed egli vi libererà dalle mani dei Filistei”.

E falou Samuel a toda a casa de Israel, dizendo: Se de todo vosso coração vos volteis ao SENHOR, tirai os deuses alheios e a Astarote de entre vós, e preparai vosso coração ao SENHOR, e a somente ele servi, e vos livrará da mão dos filisteus.

Y habló Samuel á toda la casa de Israel, diciendo: Si de todo vuestro corazón os volvéis á Jehová, quitad los dioses ajenos y á Astaroth de entre vosotros, y preparad vuestro corazón á Jehová, y á sólo él servid, y os librará de mano de los Filisteos.
Entonces Samuel le dijo a todo el pueblo de Israel: “Si ustedes van a volver a Yahvé de todo corazón, quiten de entre ustedes a los dioses extranjeros y a las imágenes de Astarot. Dediquen su corazón a Yahvé y sírvanle solo a él; entonces él los librará del poder de los filisteos”.
Entonces Samuel habló a toda la casa de Israel, diciendo: «Si os volvéis al Señor de todo corazón, quitad de entre vosotros los dioses ajenos y las imágenes de Astarot, dirigid vuestro corazón al Señor y servidle solo a él; y él os librará de mano de los filisteos».
Entonces Samuel dijo a todo Israel: Si con todo su corazón regresarán al Señor, entonces aparten de ustedes a todos los dioses extraños y las representaciones de Astarte, y que sus corazones se vuelvan al Señor, y le sirven solamente a él, y él te protegerá de las manos de los filisteos.

Самуїл же промовляв до всього дому Ізрайлевого так: Коли хочете знов обернутись із усього серця до Господа, так повикидайте з серед себе чужоземні боги та ті Астарти, та прихилїтесь серцем вашим до Господа, щоб вам його одного шанувати; от він і визволить вас із потали Филистійської.
Самуїл же промовляв до всього дому Ізрайлевого так: Коли хочете знов обернутись із усього серця до Господа, так повикидайте з серед себе чужоземні боги та ті Астарти, та прихилїтесь серцем вашим до Господа, щоб вам його одного шанувати; от він і визволить вас із потали Филистійської.
Bấy giờ, Sa-mu-ên nói cùng cả nhà Y-sơ-ra-ên rằng: Nếu các ngươi thật hết lòng trở lại cùng Đức Giê-hô-va, thì khá cất khỏi giữa các ngươi những thần lạ và tượng Aùt-tạt-tê, hết lòng theo Đức Giê-hô-va, chỉ phục sự một mình Ngài mà thôi. Ngài ắt sẽ giải cứu các ngươi khỏi tay dân Phi-li-tin.
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר שְׁמוּאֵ֗ל אֶל־כָּל־בֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵל֮ לֵאמֹר֒ אִם־בְּכָל־לְבַבְכֶ֗ם אַתֶּ֤ם שָׁבִים֙ אֶל־יְהוָ֔ה הָסִ֜ירוּ אֶת־אֱלֹהֵ֧י הַנֵּכָ֛ר מִתּוֹכְכֶ֖ם וְהָעַשְׁתָּר֑וֹת וְהָכִ֨ינוּ לְבַבְכֶ֤ם אֶל־יְהוָה֙ וְעִבְדֻ֣הוּ לְבַדּ֔וֹ וְיַצֵּ֥ל אֶתְכֶ֖ם מִיַּ֥ד פְּלִשְׁתִּֽים׃
