وَرَفَضُوا فَرَائِضَهُ وَعَهْدَهُ ٱلَّذِي قَطَعَهُ مَعَ آبَائِهِمْ وَشَهَادَاتِهِ ٱلَّتِي شَهِدَ بِهَا عَلَيْهِمْ، وَسَارُوا وَرَاءَ ٱلْبَاطِلِ، وَصَارُوا بَاطِلًا وَرَاءَ ٱلْأُمَمِ ٱلَّذِينَ حَوْلَهُمُ، ٱلَّذِينَ أَمَرَهُمُ ٱلرَّبُّ أَنْ لَا يَعْمَلُوا مِثْلَهُمْ.

A opovrhli ustanovení jeho i smlouvu jeho, kterouž učinil s otci jejich, i osvědčování jeho, kterýmiž se jim osvědčoval, a odešli po marnosti, a marní učiněni jsou, následujíce pohanů, kteříž byli vůkol nich, o nichž jim byl přikázal Hospodin, aby nečinili jako oni.

و فرایض او و عهدی که با پدران ایشان بسته، وشهادات را که به ایشان داده بود، ترک نمودند، وپیروی اباطیل نموده، باطل گردیدند و امتهایی راکه به اطراف ایشان بودند و خداوند، ایشان رادرباره آنها امر فرموده بود که مثل آنها عمل منمایید، پیروی کردند.

Y desecharon sus estatutos, y su pacto que él había concertado con sus padres, y sus testimonios que él había protestado contra ellos; y siguieron la vanidad, y se hicieron vanos, y fueron en pos de las gentes que estaban alrededor de ellos, de las cuales les había Jehová mandado que no hiciesen á la manera de ellas:
Rechazaron sus leyes, el pacto que él había hecho con sus antepasados y las advertencias que les había dado. Siguieron ídolos inútiles y ellos mismos se volvieron inútiles. Imitaron a las naciones vecinas, aunque Yahvé les había ordenado que no lo hicieran.

І відкинули постанови його, й заповіт його, що він вчинив з отцями їх, і перестороги його, що ними остерегав їх, й пійшли за марнотами й чинили марноти, та наслїдували народи, що жили навкруги, хоч Господь забороняв їм чинити те, що вони чинили;
Chúng khinh bỏ các luật lệ và giao ước Ngài đã lập cùng tổ phụ họ, và những lời chứng mà Ngài đã phán với họ. Chúng đi theo các thần hư không, và trở thành hư không, bắt chước các dân tộc ở chung quanh mình, mà Đức Giê-hô-va đã cấm làm theo gương của chúng nó.
וַיִּמְאֲס֣וּ אֶת־חֻקָּ֗יו וְאֶת־בְּרִיתוֹ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר כָּרַ֣ת אֶת־אֲבוֹתָ֔ם וְאֵת֙ עֵֽדְוֺתָ֔יו אֲשֶׁ֥ר הֵעִ֖יד בָּ֑ם וַיֵּ֨לְכ֜וּ אַחֲרֵ֤י הַהֶ֨בֶל֙ וַיֶּהְבָּ֔לוּ וְאַחֲרֵ֤י הַגּוֹיִם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר סְבִֽיבֹתָ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֨ר צִוָּ֤ה יְהוָה֙ אֹתָ֔ם לְבִלְתִּ֖י עֲשׂ֥וֹת כָּהֶֽם׃
