وَقَالَ يَعْقُوبُ: «يَا إِلَهَ أَبِي إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِلَهَ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، ٱلرَّبَّ ٱلَّذِي قَالَ لِيَ: ٱرْجِعْ إِلَى أَرْضِكَ وَإِلَى عَشِيرَتِكَ فَأُحْسِنَ إِلَيْكَ.

[32:10] Weiter sprach Jakob: Gott meines Vaters Abraham und Gott meines Vaters Isaak, HERR, der du zu mir gesagt hast: Zieh wieder in dein Land und zu deiner Freundschaft, ich will dir wohltun!
Denn er dachte: Wenn Esau das eine Lager überfällt und niedermetzelt, so kann doch das andere Lager entrinnen!
Und Jakob sprach: Gott meines Vaters Abraham und Gott meines Vaters Isaak, HERR, der du zu mir gesagt hast: Kehre wieder in dein Land und zu deiner Verwandtschaft zurück; ich will dir wohltun!

ויאמר יעקב אלהי אבי אברהם ואלהי אבי יצחק יהוה האמר אלי שוב לארצך ולמולדתך ואיטיבה עמך׃
