Entonces el hierro y la tierra, él bronce, la plata y el oro, se aplastaron y se volvieron como el polvo en los pisos donde se tritura el grano en verano; y el viento se los llevó para que no se viera ninguna señal de ellos: y la piedra que dio un golpe a la imagen se convirtió en una gran montaña, cubriendo toda la tierra.

Entonces fueron desmenuzados juntamente el hierro, el barro cocido, el bronce, la plata y el oro. Fueron como conchas de grano trillado en las eras de verano que el viento arrebata sin que de ellas quede algún rastro. Pero la piedra que golpeó a la estatua se volvió una gran montaña que llenó toda la tierra.
