וַיֹּ֨אמֶר אֵלָ֤יו גִּדְעֹון֙ בִּ֣י אֲדֹנִ֔י וְיֵ֤שׁ יְהוָה֙ עִמָּ֔נוּ וְלָ֥מָּה מְצָאַ֖תְנוּ כָּל־זֹ֑את וְאַיֵּ֣ה כָֽל־נִפְלְאֹתָ֡יו אֲשֶׁר֩ סִפְּרוּ־לָ֨נוּ אֲבֹותֵ֜ינוּ לֵאמֹ֗ר הֲלֹ֤א מִמִּצְרַ֙יִם֙ הֶעֱלָ֣נוּ יְהוָ֔ה וְעַתָּה֙ נְטָשָׁ֣נוּ יְהוָ֔ה וַֽיִּתְּנֵ֖נוּ בְּכַף־מִדְיָֽן׃
ויאמר אליו גדעון בי אדני ויש יהוה עמנו ולמה מצאתנו כל זאת ואיה כל נפלאתיו אשר ספרו לנו אבותינו לאמר הלא ממצרים העלנו יהוה ועתה נטשנו יהוה ויתננו בכף מדין׃
فَقَالَ لَهُ جِدْعُونُ: «أَسْأَلُكَ يَا سَيِّدِي، إِذَا كَانَ ٱلرَّبُّ مَعَنَا فَلِمَاذَا أَصَابَتْنَا كُلُّ هَذِهِ؟ وَأَيْنَ كُلُّ عَجَائِبِهِ ٱلَّتِي أَخْبَرَنَا بِهَا آبَاؤُنَا قَائِلِينَ: أَلَمْ يُصْعِدْنَا ٱلرَّبُّ مِنْ مِصْرَ؟ وَٱلْآنَ قَدْ رَفَضَنَا ٱلرَّبُّ وَجَعَلَنَا فِي كَفِّ مِدْيَانَ».
جدعون وی راگفت: «آهای خداوند من، اگر یهوه با ماست پس چرا این همه بر ما واقع شده است، و کجاست جمیع اعمال عجیب او که پدران ما برای ما ذکرکرده، و گفتهاند که آیا خداوند ما را از مصر بیرون نیاورد، لیکن الان خداوند ما را ترک کرده، و بهدست مدیان تسلیم نموده است.»
ဂိဒေါင် က၊ အိုသခင် ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် အကျွန်ုပ် တို့နှင့်အတူ ရှိ တော်မူသည် မှန်လျှင် အဘယ်ကြောင့် ဤ အမှုကြီး ရောက် ရပါသနည်း။ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ငါ တို့ကို အဲဂုတ္တု ပြည်မှ နှုတ် ဆောင်တော်မူသည် မဟုတ် လောဟု အကျွန်ုပ် တို့အဘ များ ပြော သည်အတိုင်း ပြုတော်မူသော၊ အံ့ဘွယ် သော အမှုရှိသမျှ တို့သည် အဘယ်မှာ ရှိပါသနည်း။ ယခု မှာ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် အကျွန်ုပ် တို့ကို စွန့် ၍ မိဒျန် လူတို့လက် သို့ အပ် တော်မူပြီတကားဟု ဆို လေသော်၊
기드온이 그에게 대답하되 `나의 주여 ! 여호와께서 우리와 함께 계시면 어찌하여 이 모든 일이 우리에게 미쳤나이까 또 우리 열조가 일찍 우리에게 이르기를 여호와께서 우리를 애굽에서 나오게 하신 것이 아니냐 한 그 모든 이적이 어디 있나이까 ? 이제 여호와께서 우리를 버리사 미디안의 손에 붙이셨나이다'
ギデオンは言った。「ああ、わが主よ。主が私たちとともにおられるのなら、なぜこのすべてが私たちに起こったのでしょう。父祖たちは、『主は私たちをエジプトから導き上られたではないか』と言い、主の驚くべきみわざを語り伝えました。それは今どこにあるのでしょう。今や主は私たちを捨て、ミディアンの手に渡されました。」
基甸对他说：“唉，我主啊，如果耶和华与我们同在，为什么这一切事临到我们呢？我们的祖先告诉我们说：‘耶和华岂不是带我们从埃及上来吗？’祂一切奇妙的作为在哪里呢？可是现在耶和华丢弃了我们，把我们交在米甸手中。”
基甸说：「主啊，耶和华若与我们同在，我们何至遭遇这一切事呢？我们的列祖不是向我们说『耶和华领我们从 埃及上来』吗？他那样奇妙的作为在哪里呢？现在他却丢弃我们，将我们交在 米甸人手里。」

E Gideão lhe respondeu: Ah, Senhor meu, se o SENHOR é conosco, por que nos sobreveio tudo isto? E onde estão todas suas maravilhas, que nossos pais nos contaram, dizendo: Não nos tirou o SENHOR do Egito? E agora o SENHOR nos desamparou, e nos entregou nas mãos dos midianitas.

Gideon aber sprach zu ihm: Ach, mein Herr, wenn der HERR mit uns ist, warum ist uns denn solches alles widerfahren? Und wo sind alle seine Wunder, von denen uns unsre Väter erzählten, indem sie sprachen: Hat der HERR uns nicht aus Ägypten geführt? Nun aber hat uns der HERR verlassen und in die Hand der Midianiter gegeben!

And Gid'on said unto him, Oh Adoni, if Hashem be with us, why then is all this befallen us? And where be all His nifla'ot (miracles) which Avoteinu told us of, saying, Did not Hashem bring us up from Mitzrayim? But now Hashem hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of Midyan.
